LUDICHRIST To Play Covers Medley During Reunion Concert

December 11, 2006

'80s hardcore metal act LUDICHRIST and the band formed out of its remains, SCATTERBRAIN, will reunite for a one-off performance at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City on February 23, 2007. The bandmemers have issued the following update on the rehearsal sessions for the upcoming gig:

"If you've read previous rehearsal blogs, you know that our prime directive and number one rule is to 'keep it heavy!' Unfortunately, that rule backfired the other night.

"We were figuring out what cover songs to play during the LUDICHRIST set, and we came up with three. Of course we followed the rule — all three were heavy. Very fuckin' heavy. However, when we combined them into a medley, the laws of synergism came into play. The medley was even heavier than the three individual songs. As a matter of fact (and we know it sounds impossible),but it was actually too heavy. The owner of the rehearsal studio had a brain hemorrhage and shit his pants. Also, the sound guy died. Apparently his heart exploded. Oh well. We're going to have to figure out how to play the medley without killing anyone else. We'll keep you posted.

"Besides that dead guy thing, things are going swimmingly. The LUDICHRIST set is complete — 24 songs, and it sounds pretty fuckin' good. We've got about half of the SCATTERBRAIN stuff going strong too."
